Abstract EN

This study highlights the social role and responsibility of businessmen in Egypt, especially under increasing rate of poverty, unemployment and slums area and under governmental policies, which not are able to solve Egyptian society problems.

Thus, social role of businessmen became a necessity which imposed from complicated social and economic facts, to be able to contribute in educational service, health care and empowerment chances of economical and social development.

which might help decrease the poverty and achieve co- development.

The frame of study contains double main questions, which are: the features of social role of businessmen? And how it formed? The answers of these study questions are from recognitions of social image around businessmen in Egyptian society and the reflection of this image on the practice of their social roles and their vision towards social responsibility and reflection of that vision on their management development project in communities.

Finally, the recognition of determiners of social role of businessmen.

The main questions of the research were answered based on the use of a case study method.
