Abstract EN
This paper deals with a contradictory phenomenon in the composition of the Algerian insurance market which is dominated by the car insurance branch that is a compulsory type with an important amount of underwriting premiums, from one hand, and a threat to the financial balance of the insurance companies, from the other hand, due to the huge amounts paid as indemnity for physical and materiel damages.
Therefore, the researcher is seeking to find an objective explanation for this problem
