Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the relationship between the dimensions of the learning organization and transformational leadership among university leaders from faculty members’ perspective at the University of Kuwait.

Correlative comparative descriptive approach was used through the application of two tools developed by the researcher himself, on a sample of (384) participants Results of the study indicate that : (1) the proportion of 33 % of the participants assumed leadership positions at the university, (2) responding to all dimensions in the instruments was medium, (3) Availability of transformational leadership among university leaders was moderate, except for some dimensions with low level, (4) the presence of correlation relationship between the dimensions of the learning organization and transformational leadership among university leaders at the significance level (0.01), (5) the presence of statistically significant differences in the responses of the sample about the availability of the dimensions of the learning organization among the university leaders attributed to the type of college variables and scientific degree and years of experience, and there were no differences attributed to the gender variable, (6) the presence of statistically significant differences in the response of the sample about the availability of transformational leadership among university leaders attributed to same variables, (7) the presences of statistically significant differences in favor of the leaders on the dimensions of the learning organization among the university leaders than non-leaders of the study sample, (8) the presence of statistically significant differences in favor of leaders about the dimensions of transformational leadership among university leaders than non-leaders of the study sample.

The study concluded with some recommendations and vital suggestions.
