Abstract EN

This paper covers the study aspect of the development of the banking system in Algeria.

Perhaps the most important new ideas that have emerged in this area, the emergence of the digital economy, which is generated what has been called e-banking which is the sum of banking transactions made using electronic means namely the new information and communication technology whether it's traditional or new banking business.

Under this pattern, banking institution is seeking to expand in this area to ensure continuity and stay competitive in light of the banking market.

The aim of this study was to highlight the first steps of e-banking in Algeria as well as the importance of their application and prospects for developmentin the Algerian banking institution, which will lead us to develop conclusions and propose several recommendations in this area.
