Abstract EN

The question Of identity is always a problematic issue because it's related to several fields such as law, religion, race, and culture.

But talking about this cognitive problem is more difficult today than ever before.

Thus the scientific evolution, the informatic and the genetic revolutions have attacked the modern human and, therefore, have reversed consciousness about self-identity which the human would have thought so that its constants are more than its variables, its essence is more than its different features, and the natural is more than the acquired.

The contemporary human finds himself living a series of endings: the end of human identity, the end of history, the end of the world, the end of geography, and the end Of the author.

Furthermore, this ending frame is what leads to historical, political, and social changes.

This metaphorical use reflects the transition to a digital society, which by its high technological developments, erases all types of variations, unites the civilizations and, also, generalizes systems of living in universal styles.

Thus, this possible new world produces new concepts and values; moreover it estab- lishes the cosmic city, global identity, and the cybernetic society.

This research seeks to approach these changes in order to describe and interpret their impact on human identity in general, and on the Arabic identity in particular.
