Abstract EN

The pronoun of separation plays an important role in illustrating the mean- ing of nominal clauses.

It emphasizes the subject in certain contexts, separates between the verb and the adjective in other contexts, and classifies the con- nected relationship in yet other types of contexts.

This research deals with this pronoun and also examines the five basic issues of speech, according to grammarians.

These issues are definition and name, form, conditions, useful- ness, and syntax.

In the first part, the researcher defines the pronoun of separation through its different names.

The second part shows the different forms of this pronoun.

The third part deals with the main conditions of the pronoun itself and what may come before and after it.

As for the fourth part, the researcher explains the role of this pronoun and the advantages of it in both syntax and grammar.

The last part examines the different ways in which grammarians view syntax.

The application part has a very important role in the paper, for it includes evidences from the Holy Qur'an and employs them throughout the research when necessary in order to support the researcher's claims and opinions.
