Al - Hana's Letter constitutes a concession to its reader as it arouses enquiries, alienation and contradictions which compel him/her to reread it differently.

As a result, the appropriate technique to analyze and read it properly in order to lead to knowledge, tranquility and dissipate feelings of ambiguity and alienation is irony.

One of the main patterns present in "A1-Hana's letter" is lexical irony in its two types and dramatic irony.

Hence, the study starts by defining the most significant of these patterns, then examines the text indicating places and types of irony as the text requires.

As a result, some of these patterns are the analytic process as dramatic irony, events irony, and observed irony.
