Abstract EN

Negation is one of the Arabic methods that formed the Arabic identity, and so, there are many negative articles to emphasize this method, " inn " is one of them.

Each one presents negation in its general meaning but differs from the rest according to its context.

Each article is connected to specific type which is different from the other ones, and this can never be achieved through any other article.

Consequently, this paper aims to study"inn" as a negative one in the holy Qur'an and how could negation achieve this in the text.

Thus, this study deals with this matter in two level; its usage on the one hand, and its significant on the other hand.

The paper is divided into: an introduction, a preface, three chapters, and a conclusion.

Chapter I includes the usage of " inn" in the holy Qur'an according to the collected evidences of it.

This chapter has shown the different types of its compositions.

Besides, it shows its divisions in both nouns and verbs and its classifications.

In addition, the researcher could find out the difference between it and the neglected if.

Chapter II, has examined the question of the usage of ifand the neglected one, and the views of grammarians in it supporting that with their evidence.

In chapter III, I tried to examine the negative " inn " and its distinguished usage that can never be with others using some texts of the holy Qur'an.

The conclusion is for the main finding in this paper.
