Abstract EN
This study aims to explore the degree of the availability of the requirements of applying the electronic administration in private schools in the West Bank, and to identify the impact of the variables of gender, qualifications, and years of service on the degree of the availability of the requirements of application of the electronic administration in private schools in the West Bank.
To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a questionnaire which consisted of 36 items divided into five areas: physical requirements, technical skills requirements, administrative requirements, financial requirements, and safety and security requirements.
The sample of the study consisted of 100 private school principals.
The study used the descriptive survey method.
The results of the study showed that the scores of material requirements, financial requirements, technical skills requirements, and the total score were high, whereas the scores of safety and security requirements and administrative requirements were average.
There were no significant differences due to the variable of gender (except for the area of safety and security requirements) and the total score.
There were also no significant differences due to the variable of the years of experience.
However, there were significant differences due to the variable of qualifications and the total score except for the areas of physical requirements and technical skills requirements.
The study recommended the need to rehabilitate the administrative staff on electronic planning as a prerequisite for electronic administration, as well as the need to liaise between school administrations and electronic crimes unit to establish, implement, and maintain data security measures.
