The port of Apollonia of the most important ports Cyrenaica for its association with the capital of the province of Cyrene, and therefore won the largest share of scientific interest for missions archaeological since the middle of last century, and was able to those efforts that reveal a lot of the details of construction and architecture of the harbour from the docks , basins , towers , stores and basins hunting but found until the remains of two ships, cutting marble , pottery and spare coin .
onzera to publish some studies for ports region and fear of loss of landmarks this port if the expansion of the modern port without taking into account the maps drawn for the site, we saw that we study the descriptive and analytical information, which provided us with their missions multiple foreign field studies conducted in the city and its port of Apollonia.
It emerged from this study compared the magnitude of this port with a large number of ports in the Mediterranean basin and underscores gave archaeological were found on the volume of trade exchange between the province and the ancient world Cyrenaica.
