Abstract EN
The purpose of this study was to identify the level of burnout among faculty members when coping with the requirements of academic accreditation according to multi variables.
Participants consisted of )330( faculty members at King Saud University.
The data were collected by using the Burnout Inventory )MBI(.
T.test, Anova and Scheffe, statistical analysis were conducted in this study.
The results indicate that the level of burnout in faculty members was moderate on the three cores: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and personal accomplishment.
There were statistically signifcant differences between the mean scores of males and females in different burnout variables.
- There were statistically signifcant differences between the mean scores of Saudis and non-Saudis in both emotional exhaustion, and depersonalization and in the total score in favor of Saudis.
- There was no statistical signifcance differences between Saudis and non-Saudis in depersonalization and the total score.
- There were statistically signifcant differences in the emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, personal accomplishment and the total score, according to the academic ranking for the lower degree.
- There were statistically signifcant differences in all of the emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, personal accomplishment and the total score for the experience in the feld of quality.
- There were statistically signifcant differences in all of the emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, personal accomplishment and the total score due to the training courses.
Inaddition, there were statistically signifcant differences at the level (0.000) in the Emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, personal accomplishment, and the total score is due to the number of committees at the department.
