Abstract EN

This research paper examines the role of developmental programs in Algeria during the period 2001-2014 in achieving sustainable development.

Since 2001, the Algerian authorities began implementing economic recovery strategy through the implementation of important investment programs.

This strategy has achieved important results at the economic, social and environmental levels.

However, there are many challenges, such as over-reliance on oil revenues to finance developmental programs.

Since oil is a non-sustainable resource, it is necessary to search for sustainable sources of funding to ensure the sustainability of these programs.

On the other hand, sustainable development requires the use of these revenues in strategic investments that respond to the needs of future generations and increase the efficiency of investment by passing all negative points of current projects.
