Food security is one of the main challenges facing the Arab Maghreb countries, despite the availability of natural resources of land, water and human resources, agriculture didn't t achieve the targeted increase in production to face the demand for food, which led to the widening food gap, so the Maghreb-States has become like the rest of the Arab States imports about half of its main food commodities, In this regard, the importance of reviewing and reconsideration of the agricultural policies adopted by those countries has become an urgent necessity
