The aim of this paper is to study the effects of the ecological disaster caused by BP company in the Mexican gulf south of the United States of America.
However, special emphasis is made on measuring the effect of the disaster on the BP share return rates using the CAPM model both in NYSE and LSE.
The results of the study show that the ecological disaster has negative material and moral effects on the company.
