Abstract EN

Through this paper, We have tried to evaluate the current development model, which relies on oil revenues in Algeria.

We concluded the ineffectiveness of these model on building a strong and diverse economy.

The over-reliance on oil sector has led to the neglect of other sectors, such as agriculture and industry, which led to the weakness of exports diversification in Algerian.

The model also failed to resolve the most important social problems.

Because of these results as well as the lower of oil prices, there is a need to adopt a new development model based on economic diversification not on oil revenues.

So we proposed in this study a new model of growth and development based on economic diversification and the most conditions for the success of economic diversification strategy.
