The presentstudyaims to determine the prevalence of Emotional relationships among young university students, as well as to know of the objectives behindthoserelationships, and means of communication between the two parties on one hand, and on the other hand, to know the causes of the otheryoung people behindrefusing to engage in thoserelationships.

An exploratorymethodology has been chosenusing the questionnaire, and the studywasconducted on a samplefrom Batna Universitystudents, itincluded 140 individualfromvarious disciplinent and degrees.

The studyrevealedthat more than 62% of the studysample set up romanticrelationships, and the percentage of (81.82%) of the sample engage in relationships in order to marry
