Abstract EN

The Algerian government has paid great attention to tourism investment within its development policies and strategies in order to improve tourism and make it a wealth-generating sector, as it launched a new tourist policy aimed at developing tourism investment and promoting the Algerian tourism product and integrating it into the world tourist market.

This study is intended to shed light on the programs and policies adopted by Algeria to improve the tourism sector, and the effects of these programs and policies on the variables of economic development.
