This study aims to highlight the impact of the company’s commitment to the environmental dimension of sustainable development on its economic performance, by following a policy of reducing emissions and waste along with rationalizing the consumption of water and energy, and reducing maintenance costs.

The results of the empirical study, show that the right implementation of an environmental approach, even if does require some additional costs can result in a "win-win" situation for both the enterprise and the society.
