Abstract EN

This study aims to reveal the global food security indicators and the possibility of achieving Algeria for food security, and through the development of Algeria analysis in light of indicators developed by the Economist Intelligence Unit, on the grounds that Algeria is a country to achieve food security seeks to be able to reduce the severity of the economic dependency that now threatening the security of all countries, especially in light of the changes that the world is witnessing at the present time.

The results indicate that the degree of achievement of the Algerian food security is considered modest, requiring further efforts for the advancement of the national economy and to reduce external dependency which is now threatening the security as a whole.
