The study includes a presentation of what Brazil did in its experience to fight poverty.

Although its huge area and the different social classes, it makes a giant leap in this field.

The Brazilian government, led by the country's president Lula Ignacio da Silva, fulfilled a constricted policy includes many programs which would overcome the obstacles of the phenomenon.

For instance, austerity programs, changing loan policies, expansion of agriculture and extraction of oil and minerals, expansion of industry, tourism sector stimulation.

In addition, the direct ways to settle the problem of poverty (social assistance).

Brazil, during the period between 2003_ 2009 under Lola Da Silva ruling, has already been able to fulfil several achievements, most importantly reducing the poverty ratio to the two thirds.

This success in executing programs is due to many factors; the most important of them are: People’s confidence in its government, basing on the participation of people in programs executing, the availability of transparency and accountability, the existence of democracy, fighting corruption, which entirely represent the important Governance indicators.

Moreover, what really confirms the decrease in poverty ratio in a remarkable way in Brazil are the statistics obtained from the most important international bodies particularly the International Bank and the United Nations.
