Abstract EN

This research aims to study the impact of environmental management’s adoption according to the specifications of the ISO 14000 in activating and developing the practice of green functions chain in the economic organization and specifically the Algerian company of Phosphate Mines.

To achieve that the research deals with the theoretical part of the anatomy concept of environmental management according to ISO 14000 and the requirements of localization its system in the organization, through highlighting the concept and the importance of green functions chain and the requirements of practice, leading to the linkage between the two concepts through showing how to activate the integration of environmental considerations in the functions of the organization and develop its practice, by adopting the environmental management according to the ISO 14000 standard.

And to install it necessitated an applied study the Algerian company of Phosphate Mines, by clarifying the impact of its adoption of ISO 14000 to activate and develop the practice of green functions, through the comparison and analysis of the status of these functions, before and after obtaining the certificate of conformity.

This research has concluded that standards of ISO14000 were developed to the extent that it contributes to the activation and the development of the green functions’ practice in the organization through the continuous improvement of Environmental aspects in functions.

And through tracking, tracing and classifying potential effects on the environment of the product system by evaluating the stages of its life cycle.

This is the findings of applied study through installing the positive impact that emerged with the evolution of the most important indicators at the level of performance with the perspective of green functions chain’s practice
