Abstract EN

Clinical psychology’s considered as one of the most important disciplines of psychology, based on knowledge of the theoretical aspects and individual knowledge that the person required through university cursus, and also on the competence as clinician and efficiency in employing this knowledge within the limits of preparation for employment, training and his potential.

We wonder if the theoretical treatment and cognitive input obtained by the competent during the University set up in Algeria (classic or LMD system) are enough so he can manage and control what is essential and necessary among diagnostic and treatment means that respord to this patient suffering and so provide him with the best? by adopting a closed survey that was distributed to a sample of clinical psychology students and clinical practitioners in various institutions, we have tried to know their opinions about the reality of clinical practice in Algeria, in the light of a number of indicators reflecting the University academic training of study's units and programs and its practical and research extent? And besides, now important is the contribution of this academic training in constructing a clear perception that responds to the professional reality requirements and the clinical practice quality
