Abstract EN

The organizations business environment faces many contemporary challenges which represented in the knowledgeable and informational revolution in all economic aspects, a transformation of economy from a physical to the cognitive economic have been occurred as result of this revolution, where knowledge is becoming an important component of production that requires to be managed in order to develop creativity and innovation, and this can’t be achieved only through the presence of a human resource which is the basic foundation of the knowledge economy.

For that, organizations must focus on investment in human capital, depending on education and training by measuring the return on investment in training the human capital, this area meet a growing interest by researchers due to the difficulties facing its measurement in order to determine the benefits and interests of this investment in taking a rational decisions on human resource.

Accordingly, this research aims to identify how to measure the return on investment in training the human capital on knowledge economy through a case study carried out in the Algerian Aures mills enterprise of Batna.
