Bcjaia was a cultural ccnter in the Islamic Maghreb during the Middle Ages and a cultural interaction bridge.

This is due to the efforts ot many scientists and venerable scholars who had a vigorous scientific activity.

They were delivering different lessons in various educational institution that were spread all over the icgion.

They also wrote works of a great scientific value which they had classified and tilled the region's libraries with.

Not surprising, the scientific movement between Bcjaia and Beni Hammad Castle was very active.

This could clearly be noticcd as scholars where moving freely.

Thus, they had played a leading role in enriching the aspects of civilisation in both cities.

Besides, they contributed in the construction of the cultural scene as well as the intellectual landmarks.
