Abstract EN
The targeted study is the evaluation of the effectiveness of the bank of Algeria tools; to reach monetary stability during the period 2002-2016 as well as presenting and evaluating the Algerian experience in adopting the inflation targeting strategy especially with the appearance of the legislative provisions that has a relation with the order 04-10 that was issued in August.
The study reached some results and the most notable one is that: the monetary policy of the bank of Algeria doesn't achieve the target of the monetary stability during the study period.
And that the modern trend of the Algerian monetary policy can't be considered as an experimental entrance to predict the rates of future inflation because of the absence of all the necessary conditions
