This article deals with one of the most important issues in the history of the Tunisian reform movement which has an Islamic dimension, namely the educational reform in general and the Zaytounis in particular.

This is through the thought of Sheikh Abdul Aziz Thaalabi, who is considered one of the most important Tunisian reformers ,who have a great interest in the issue of education and reform,Especially that education in Tunisia was suffering from many problems in its content and methods ,before and after the imposition of French protection on Tunisia.
