South Korea has been a pioneer in economic development.

In a relatively short period of three decades, the country has achieved tremendous growth and development.

Korea moved from a backward country with an average per capita income of $ 100 in 1965 to a developed, The per capita income of more than $ 10.000 in 1995, we have taken the study of the internal and external dimensions of the process of economic development in South Korea as the title of this article to study this experiment in order to benefit from its data.

In order to reach the objective of the study, we divided this chapter into three topics.

In the first section, we presented the initial policies of the economic development process in South Korea.

As for the second part, how did the government deal with the financial crisis and the reform policies in Korea (1997-2003), and in the third topic: government and reform of the financial sector, which contributed to the success of the development process in South Korea
