By and large, pain is imparted with positivity before pleasure or happiness that embrace negativity.

The very first pain engrains in the soul an impetus; and it, further, stimulates the intellect to scrutinize the world, whilst out of pleasure reliance and compliance spring out.

Pain per se has a multi-facets: the material and spiritual pain, and the pain of knowledge.

These diverse, intertwined hues of pain contribute in arching the civilization, in a manner that such facets could not be separated one from another.
