Abstract EN
Pain is a part of the human life, a part qua part of its entity and nature, for the human is a spiritual bodily being.
Humans are distinguished with a two fold aspect: the inward and outward.
Along these lines, the pain that befalls the inward aspect, qua feelings per se, is far deep vis-a-vis the pain that inflicts the very body.
Pain is hardly seen as a divine retribution.
Rather, it is, in particular, a symbol of the limitedness and weakness per se of the human being.
Upon dealing with the treatise of pain, one should expound upon the very pain, qua pain, but rather as it is a symbol of weakness and limitedness both.
Further, the stance of the merciful human being before the suffering other manifests the very divine glory and love.
It is then through baptism that Christians partake in the journey of Jesus through life, death, and resurrection, initiating from the resurrection of Jesus inasmuch as it is a very victory over death and pain.
Ihe biggest pain, however, lies in holding not our egoism so dear, to acquire, accordingly, the victory of resurrection.
