Abstract EN

Whilst Arabs were, throughout history, distinguished in both the Qur’an and poetry that were at variance due to certain Qur’anic contexts that bear the poet as an opposite to the prophet, Muslim Sufis were vigilant to the inward shades and dimensions engrained in the Qur’an, which they deemed as quintessential subject in their poetry and ecstatic paradoxes (shatah).

1 lence, the two truths, poetic and philosophical, are a manifestation of but a metaphysical disguise.

As the philosophical language provides an intellectual bliss, the artistic language, however, wanders off towards wonder.

Along these lines, the philosophical text inherently differs from the poetic qua their very approach and implication in their quest towards the hidden or the invisible.
