Deleuze expounds upon the transcendental field as being distinguished from the experience; it neither refers to an object, nor docs it belong to a subject.

It is, therefore, a very pure plane of immanence, for it eludes all transcendence, that of the object and the subject as well.

Pure immanence is life, and nothing else than life.

A life that is no longer dependent on a being, and that never submits to an act.

Therefore, the transcendent field is plotted by the plane of immanence, and the plane of immanence, in turn, is plotted by life.
