This research aims at shedding light on how to analyse a patrimonial text The case by here the story by EL DJAHID entitled : Muathat el anbaria I did get supported by a branch of semiotics that is : semiotics of passions ، which has become a new methodology in the study of passions .

besides i did attempt to answer some vital questions such as : what are the components of the passionating discourse in this short story at the level of syntax and semantics ? What are its characteristics in composition at the level of analysis and interpretation?
