It is important to know Hadith terms and their meanings according to the leading scholars concerned.

An investigator of these terms finds that they have more than one meaning, not as common in the late books that they were confined to a specific meaning.

The present study, entitled 'AL-Hadith AL|-M'u'dhil: A Theoretical Empirical Study '.

The study concludes that the term is practically broader than what is found in the books of Hadith.

It has been used by many scholars to refer to denial and nullity, not only on what is commonly known.
