Abstract EN

Women and children are the most touched civilians during The International Armed Conflicts and are facing grave violations of their rights.

Concerning that, we find a lot of Texts and International Contracts putting regulations of protection specific to these two genders.

Most important of those contracts is The Fourth Convention of Geneva for saving civilians issued in 12 august 1949; which has stated general rules regarding generally the civilians, then it has specified a collection of regulations setting a favoured protection especially for women and children; and The First Additional Protocol has been issued in year1977, besides other regulations for the continuity and progress in the rules of The Fourth Geneva Convention.

Also, The United Nations organism has attempted and is till nowadays attempting hardly to protect these two categories through holding various decisions as a group work of a big mechanism of protection
