Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the most important factors that cause administrative corruption in government agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from the point of view of government employees.

To achieve this goal, the literature is reviewed to determine the factors causing administrative corruption.

Then these factors are classified into managerial factors, social factors, legal factors, and economic factors.

A descriptive methodology is adopted, and a questionnaire is designed in this study.

The sample consists of 384 employees; 315 of them returned the questionnaires, and only 269 questionnaires are complete and can be analyzed.

SPSS program is used to perform descriptive and explanatory analysis.

The results of this study show the significance of (14) managerial factors, (5) social factors, (6) legal factors, and (5) economic factors, which confirms the importance of these factors in Saudi government agencies.

The study is concluded by several important recommendations that help formulate appropriate strategies to combat administrative corruption and address its effects
