The purposeof the current researchwas to identify the impact of employing a training program to develop mothers'skills to deal with their autisticchildrenand its impact in reducing their behavioral problems .To achieve this goal, the researcher used a sample of seven ofmothers with autistic children and their children.

The researcher relied on several conditions in the selection of the sample where mothers ages ranged from 25-41 years, and the degree of their children aged4-8 years.

Children's IQ ranged between 75-90on the scale of Goddard,they were averageon AutismScale for Children.

Mothers who had low scores on a scale of maternal skills to deal with children with autism (They lacked the skills to deal with children) were selected .

The training program consisted of a set of skills (communication skills, social interaction skills, satisfaction of basic needs, dealing with disordered behaviors) .Mothers were trained in these skills for almost three months with two sessions per week, each session lasted for two hours , each session included a set of procedural objectives of the program .The results were as follows: 1- There were significant differences between the mean ranks of mothers in the experimental group in pre and post testing on mothers' skills to deal with their autistic children in favor of post test .

2- There were no significant differences between the mean ranks of mothers in the experimental group in post and follow up testing on mothers' skills to deal with their autistic children .

3- There were significant differences between the mean ranks the experimental group( children) in the pre and post testing on the autism disorder diagnostic scale for children in favor of post test .

4- There were no significant differences between the mean ranks of mothers in the experimental group( children) in post and follow up testing on the autism disorder diagnostic scale
