فعالية العلاج المعرفي السلوكي في خفض مستوى سلوك الانسحاب الاجتماعي لدى الأطفال ذوي صعوبات التعلم في محافظة الطائف

Abstract EN

This study aimed at determining the effectiveness of a cognitive – behavioral therapy on reduction of social withdrawal of children with learning disabilities.

The sample consisted of (26)childrenwhose aged rangefrom(9-12) years.

they were divided randomly into two groups, namely, experimental group and control group; each of them included (13) children.

The two researchers applied in this study the social withdrawal scale, and the suggested training program which based on cognitive – behavioral therapy (prepared by the two researchers), the statistical analyses were used: the Mann- Whitney test and Wilcoxon signed, rank test .

The results of the study showed that there were significant difference between Mean scores ranks of the experimental group and the score mean of the control group in the post test on the behavior of social withdrawal in favor of the experimental group.

There were a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the pretest and the score mean of the post test on the behavior of social withdrawal in the experimental group in favor of the post test.

The effectiveness of the reducing the level of the behavior of social withdrawal continued later after finishing the program
