Social support as perceived by students with special needs in relation to their feeling of anxiety, stress, depression and social maturity.
82 special needs student were selected in the district of Shibin–el-koom of both sex.
Sample consisted of 27 were blind, 39 were deaf and15 mentally retarded.
Tools for measurements were established and its statistical indices.
Results showed moderate level of feeling with emotional disorders (anxiety, pressure and depression).
Negative relationship was obtained between social support and feeling of emotional disorders.
Social support perceived by students with special needs was high.
No relationship was found between social support and social and emotional skills.
Recommendations were listed.
