Abstract EN

The present study aimed to recognize the relationship between the types of brain dominance prevailing for university students and Meta-cognitive thinking level.

To achieve the objectives of the study, brain dominance scale and meta cognitive thinking scale were administered on a sample consisted of 140 students (boys and girls) among Sohag Education college students .

The findings of the study revealed the following: 1- The prevailing type for Sohag Education College students is the right type.

2- There are no statistically significant differences in the prevailing type for students according to their gender or major.

3- Sample students' meta-cognitive thinking level was high.

4- There are differences in meta-cognitive thinking levels favoring girls.

5- There is a statistically significant relation between types of brain dominance and meta-cognitive thinking.
