Architects have sought, in cooperation with medical teams in hospitals, to provide a suitable treatment environment.

Calm and anti-sound, generally, is considered the main element in this environment.

Therefore, it is necessary that the levels of noise within the architecture inside spaces of hospitals should be according to the international standards.

Patients' rooms are one of the most important spaces to care for the patients and provide proper atmosphere to them in order to deal with the treatment and to accomplish the cure courses properly.

The aim of this paper is to reach to the methods and ways by which to restrict the externals noise which affects the patient rooms in Ein Shams University Hospital for Gynecology and Obstetrics.

The hospital locates in Al-Abassiya area which is the most crowded area in Cairo.

The level of noise reaches to 85 desibel during the day.

In order to reach to the basic object, firstly: information have been collected, measurements and calculating the external noise value have been taken in the words and floors of lodging rooms and inside the rooms by using (S.L.M) (**) Devise, secondly: analyzing these measurements to know the extension of effects on the noise level inside the rooms.

Thirdly: suggesting the suitable solutions and processes to decrease these levels by using computer program.

This research paper evaluates these different processes as follows: pointing the masses against the noise resource, then specify the building masses which are more sensitive to noise than others – selecting the suitable shape of the block and tree-planting the area between the block and the around roads, constructing a soundproof.

Furthermore, study of possibility to separate sound from the external frontage of the words and rooms.

This is representing the final solution to protect the hospital.

In brief, the study has provided many basic principle s as well as many designated and planned considerations which lead to prevent the external noise or at least decreases its affects inside and outside the rooms.

The aim is to provide a suitable treating environment for patients.
