Abstract EN
This study aimed at identifying the effect of using open and closed basin fish Strategy in the achievement and improvement of Creative Reading Skills of Eighth Grade Students ' in Jordan .
To achieve the purpose of the study the researcher built two tools: The achievement test and creative reading skills measurement.
The sample consisted of (108) (male and female) of Eighth primary grade students selected on purpose from two schools and were distributed into two groups: The experimental group and control group .
The researcher used the appropriate statistically manipulation :and the result showed There were : differences in achievement test attributed to the effect of open and closed basin fish strategy .The results also indicate that there were no differences between the mean performance of the respondents in achievement test due to sex variable, or to the interaction between strategy and sex .The results showed that: There were statistically significant differences on all skills on the creative reading measurement.
