The study aimed at identifying the reasons why secondary school girls did not participate in the physical education and sports sector, and the differences in their participation in the quota are attributed to the variable of residence and the social variable.
The sample of the study was 86 randomly selected students from some of the colleges in the state of Djelfa.
To collect information and achieve the objectives of the research questionnaire included five areas (reasons related to sports potential, reasons related to the psychological side, reasons related to the health aspect, the reasons related to The social side, the reasons for the religious aspect).
The results have revealed the effect of the environment and the social situation in the participation of secondary girls in the share of physical education and the existence of statistically significant differences in the lack of participation of secondary girls in the share of physical education and sports due to the variables of residence and standard of living.
