Crisis management is therefore of paramount importance because of its critical impact on the life and survival of institutions.

The perception of events before they occur helps to make appropriate decisions to minimize potential losses.

The Algerian institution faces challenges of multiple dimensions.

Some of which are external due to globalization, which calls for integration into the international environment.

Others are internal resulting from the transformation of the Algerian economy towards the market economy.

This study aimed at analyzing the status of “Fertial”, for the production of Algerian fertilizers, in order to reveal the communication plan adopted by this institution to overcome the emergency challenges and contain potential crises to maintain its reputation and improve its image.
