Abstract EN

The objective of this study was to identify the most important factors determining the extent to which Algerian university youth are adhering to their cultural identity.

The survey tool was applied to a randomly selected sample of the students of the social sciences department at the University of Oum El-Bouaghi estimated 60 students.

The study concluded that the most important factors determining the degree of adherence of university youth to their cultural identity are: the tradition factor, which is a fundamental factor in identity volatility, followed by the TV program factor, which does not contribute to raising awareness about identity preservation, In establishing the principles of the child's identity
