Abstract EN

This study dealt with models of the literature of preferring between the East and the West.

It was manifested in the linguistic and literary debates which occurred between scholars from the Eastern and the Western regions.

It was manifested in two axes and a conclusion.

The first axis included a number of scholarly journeys to Al-Andalus while the second axis was about the scholarly journeys to the East.

As for the adopted methodology, it was the deductive analytical methodology because it suits the nature of this research
