The world population is expected to reach about 9 billion in 2040; while It took hundreds of thousands of years to grow to 1 billion then in just another 200 years, it grew sevenfold, and today it grew to 7.6 billion.

This study aims to highlight the most prominent demographic trends that accompanied this dramatic growth to have an overview about the major changes and the far-reaching implications for the contemporary world.

The study concluded that aging and its consequences, sexuality and reproductive health, migration, HIV / AIDS, children and youth, human rights, and the environment are the most trends andtransformations in the world.
