Abstract EN

his study aimed to identify the common trait of both anger and life-satisfaction and their relationship.

The data have been collected from a random sample of 572 public universitiys students in Khartoum state (287 males,285 femalesj.The study used adescriptive approach, the tools of data collection is Spielberger's State-Trait Anger Expression lnventory-2{STAXI-2) (1999) after its translation and adaptationto suit the local environment, as well as the measure of life-satisfaction by Amani Abdel-Maksoud (2006), after its translation and adaptation to suit the local environment, also the calculation of Validity and reliability has been done.

The results indicated that the common trait of anger are low, and the common trait of life-satisfaction are high, and there is negative significant correlation at the level of (0.05) between anger and life-satisfaction, also there is no significant differences between anger and life-satisfactiondegrees according to gender variable.

Finally, the results of the study were discussed andprovided somerecommendations, as well as suggestions forfuture researches.
