Abstract EN

Human resource management system are considered as strategic and important systems nowadays.

It is part of the conventional information systems that depend on computer hardware and software.

People are an inevitable integral part of the system that enable these parts to work as a system according to aspecific policy.

Human resource development today considers their ultimate goal to develop mankind.

This paper discusses the importance of applying technology to human resource management in business and organizations.

Human resource management systems (HRMS) utilize computers in many areas including: databases, accurate and fast data processing, information security, data and information classification, internet, and the integration of all these processes and systems.

The paper also discusses the goals and objectives HRMS which provides availability of right information about the activities of the work and employees.

HRMS also predicts the changes that happens to the work environment and suggests solutions to these changes.

The paper also discusses the components of HRMS and its architecture.

The uses of the HRMS like planning for recruitment and employment, managing employees, employee appraisal, wages policies, and the implementation of professional training and development are also presented and discussed.

The problems of the HRMS and the experience of some countries that implanted HRMS successfully are also discussed.

The paper uses data, tables, graphs, figures, and information about HRMS from a benchmark and refereed sources and analyzes this information statistically and pragmatically.

Recommendations to the optimal implantations of HRMS are clearly presented.

This paper can be considered as a valuable document that supports the states, ministries, and organizations in their work environments.
