The study aimed to identity the main factors contribute in the enrollment of students Department of Special Education.

Faculty of Education at the University of Qassim and the relationship of these factors with the student attitude toward specialization and academic achievement average, among a sample of students in special education department numbered 260 students in mental disabilities and speech disorders and conversational, by using the averages, standard deviations.

T-Test.

correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis research has come to several results: 2- That the factors identified in the current study, all of which have a significant impact in the enrollment of students Department of Special Education and more of these factors are influential Academic factors, followed by economic factors and personal factors, and finally social factors.6- There is a positive correlation statistically significant at the level of 0002 between the academic achievement and economic factors, and Academic factors, as well as there is a positive correlation statistically significant at the level of 0002 between the attitude towards specialization and economic factors and a positive correlation statistically significant at the 0002 level between the attitude towards specialization and academic factors.

2- There is statistically significant differences at the level of 0002 between the students in the path of mental disabilities and students in the path of speech disorders and conversational in social factors in favor of the students in speech disorders and conversational path While there are no statistically significant differences between students of the two tracks in the personal factors or economic factors or factors Academy.

2- There is statistically significant differences at the level of 0002 between males and females in the personal factors in favor of females, in the economic factors in favor of males, in academic factors in favor of females, while there are no statistically significant differences between males and females in social factors.

2- We can predict the attitude towards specialization and academic achievement for students through the contributing factors in joining the Department of Special Education in Faculty of Education.
