This study will investigate the American dream as presented in Edward Albee's The American Dream.

The study will throw light on the attributes and characteristics of the different representations of the American dream.

It will search about the hypocrisy inherent in the American dream.

Furthermore, it will compare and contrast the images of the American dream, explaining how the authors impeded the image of the American dream and how Albee invited the Americans to live in reality leaving the illusion, because such a dream is far reached and difficult to be realized
